The programme serves the purpose to enhance students’ career prospects as highly qualified sociologists and social policy/welfare experts in national, European or international organizations; that are able to apply their skills in developing, implementing and evaluating social programs and projects. The joint master’s degree programme in Comparative Social Policy and Welfare serves the purpose to improve students’ academic credentials or enhance their career prospects as highly qualified analysts and applied researchers in national, European or international social policy organizations, in areas of welfare management/ social policy development; that are able to apply their skills in evaluating social programs. Students are allocated ECTS credit points for the work done, which includes both self-study and contact hours. The Master’s Programme comprises 120 ECTS credits, which corresponds to a period of study of four semesters or two years, per the respective regulations governing the partner institutions. More »
